Rev Chan is also the Honorary Adviser of the New Territories West Hospital Christian Ministry; he set up a chaplaincy unit in a non-Christian hospital in 1984; he was selected in the prestigious Ten Outstanding Young Persons Selection in Hong Kong; and achieved a Pastoral PhD from a US Reformed Theological Seminary. Rev Chan has vast and diverse ministerial experiences in the areas of chaplaincy, pastoral care, evangelism and church planting. He is the Founding Advisor of Christian Oi Hip Fellowship, Friends of Kidney Patients and Christian Cancer Care Association. Among his many published books, the recent one is Whispers of Cancer Patients – Caring for their Souls.
